Announcing the 2018 Kynock Award at BC High

Help us raise money to support our first ever Kynock Award given to a student at Boston College High School. The award will go to a junior student at BC High who has shown a commitment to the Arts either in music, theatre, or fine arts. Kevin Kynock spent almost four decades working as a teacher at BC High inspiring young artists to aspire to their goals. This award will reward a student in order to help them reach their artistic goals in high school and beyond.

Support us by donating here.

One hundred percent of the money raised will go to help support the Kevin C. Kynock Foundation for the Arts’ award programs.

2017 donation drive for free Shakespeare in Boston

This year is the tenth year our organization has raised money for free Shakespeare performances on the Boston Common. Each year, the Kynock Foundation for the Arts raises money to support the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. The CSC has brought the works of William Shakespeare to more than 1 million audience members. We are proud to support its largest annual performance on the Boston Common which helps introduce new audiences to the plays of William Shakespeare while also being a training ground for young actors.

This year, the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company is performing “Romeo and Juliet.” Help us support and bring the timeless story of young love and tragedy to Boston.

2016 donation drive for free Shakespeare in Boston

Each year, we raise money for the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. The CSC puts on a free Shakespeare play each summer on the Boston Common. We are proud to support this program which helps introduce people to the plays of William Shakespeare while being a training ground for young actors.

This year, the CSC is putting on “Love’s Labour’s Lost.” Let your donation make bringing theater to the people a “labor of love.”
