Join us Saturday, October 14 for the return of the Kevin C. Kynock Foundation Annual Gala! UPDATE: The location of the gala will now be at the Ridge at Blue Hills clubhouse at 800 West Street in Braintree, MA.
In the three years since our last major in-person fundraiser, the Kynock Foundation has continued its mission of supporting youth in the arts thanks to its generous donors. This October, we invite those supporters and newcomers to the organization to celebrate our work and look to the future.
Our organization works diligently to find ways to engage young people with the arts through the help of supporters like you.
The Kynock Foundation continues to award a scholarship to a BC High senior arts student each year in Kevin’s name. Read about our 2023 honoree, Denzel Cofie ’23.
The Kynock Foundation has also restarted its program to fund free trips to live performances for underserved youth. Read about the most recent trips in 2022 and 2023.
The Kynock Foundation also continues to support apprenticeships at the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. The CSC performs free Shakespeare on the Boston Common each year and the Kynock Foundation has been a supporter since 2006.
We hope you will be able to join us and help support our mission for the next year. Thanks to generous donations from a host committee, every dollar raised during this year’s fundraiser will go directly into supporting our programs for 2024 and beyond.

If there is someone I would love to honor in person it’s Mr. Bill Burke. I go back to the now ancient class of ’72 and have very fond memories of my time at BC High and in the drama society and numerous English and Latin classes with those two impressive personalities, Bill Burke and Kevin Kynock.
Unfortunately, I have already committed with my wife to other plans down in Virginia that weekend and cannot attend.
