The Kynock Foundation currently offers two different programs for its education or community partners:

  1. Kynock Immersion Trips: The Foundation will work with education or community partners to find a live performance that would match up with our partner’s goals or interests. The Foundation will purchase the tickets and arrange a complete itinerary for the trip. The Foundation will take care of all the arrangements between the arts and education partner. The Foundation cannot arrange for transportation, but it’s possible we can provide partial or full funding for costs depending on the amount.
  2. Artist-in-Residence Visits: The Foundation will work with its education or community partner to bring an artist-type of their choice for a visit to their school. Artists can be chosen based the partner’s choice of artist type and background. The Foundation will take care of all the arrangements with the artist or artists.

Who qualifies as an education or community partner? Teachers, school principals, or other staff members can apply on behalf of their education institution. The Kynock Foundation will also accept applications from community organizations with young adult audiences including, but not limited to afterschool organizations, church groups, or other community-based organizations. Priority will be given to applications from under-resourced or communities with historic barriers to the arts.

Is there an age range for participation? The Kynock Foundation recommends organizations with young adults ranging from middle school to high school age. On a case by case basis, the Foundation may consider applications that include elementary age children.
